Tazekka National Park

Established in 1950 by Visiriel Decree of July 11, on an initial area of 680 hectares, the main objective of the Tazekka National Park was to protect all existing natural resources at the top of the Jbel Tazekka, but especially the cedar forest (Cedrus atlantica) , which is isolated on this peak, far from the other Moroccan cedar forests, those of the Middle Atlas, or those of the Rif … The Tazekka National Park is located in the most northern part of the Middle Atlas, near the city of Taza . The park is part of a remarkable tourist circuit with a total length of 76 km, starting from the city of Taza, passing close to a series of natural sights.
